Starting again. Again.

Weight – 276
Blood sugar morning – 244
Blood sugar before dinner – 131
Blood sugar before bed – 191

Breakfast – greek yogurt, strawberries

Lunch – spinach salad with turkey, bacon, mozzarella cheese

Dinner – two cheeseburgers

Snack 1 – Quest protein bar

Steps – 17089

30 minutes walking on treadmill; 30 minute walk outside

A bad eating day. Ate way too much, including carbs and sugar. Those cookies called.


Did 50 minutes on the treadmill, alternating walking and running, mostly around 3.0 MPH, sometimes at 3.5 MPH

Streching. First time in I cannot remember when. It’s a start.

Blood sugar before lunch – 113

At least I wrote it down.

A basically OK day. Not great. Not bad. Ate more than I should have but did not eat too much.

Walked 16,132 steps. Did not do any other exercise.

Here are the numbers for the day:

Weight – 270 (this becomes my new starting weight; for reference, it is about 25 pounds above my lowest most recent weight but about 60 pounds below my starting weight)

Blood sugar morning – 250
Blood sugar before lunch – 124
Blood sugar before bed – 137

Tomorrow marks another new beginning in efforts at self-care.
